Philip Podmore
Founder, acting CEO
A former electronics apprentice in the Royal Air Force, Philip founded Accelinear Service Company in 1985. A 2003 merger resulted in the formation of OSI before the company officially introduced itself as Oncology Services International in 2008.
In addition to his 14 years with the RAF, Philip has over 30 years of experience in the radiation industry, holding positions at Philips Medical Systems (later purchased as a division of Elekta) and the Joint Centre in Boston.
Philip has a unique philosophy when it comes to customer service, which is the centerpiece of and inspiration for Oncology Services International. He believes the most important aspect of customer service is keeping the customer informed at all times – even if it hurts.
